A retired paramedic of 41 years, my passion for duck hunting goes way back. I was born in Port Rowan (near Long Point) and raised on a farm just north of Walsingham, ON. As you know farm work is never done so as a youngster I did not get the time I would have like to pursue my passion for duck hunting. As I got older the passion remained and I started doing it as much as I could. One day in 1990, I came in from a good hunt and a gentleman was standing at the dock. We talked for a while and by the end of the conversation I had agreed to guide for him. Twenty years late in 2010, I took over the business of Coletta Bay Guides .

The passion of the hunt and the pleasure of meeting new hunters is what I enjoy most. My equipment is top notch as I will not let my clients down with inadequate stuff. Each day you hunt is different as mother nature either provides or doesn’t but the wonder of nature is always there. The birds we hunt are wild. There are no corn fed ponds or man made swamps. This is the real deal. We have to rely on mother nature to help us out at times and hope she is in a good mood! With 17 different types of ducks fly through Long Point in any given year. We pride ourselves in giving our clients the best we can each and every day!
